Tips For Oily Hair |
Try a shampoo that contains tea tree oil, which has astringent properties that help combat excess oil. If you have a shampoo that you love and don't want to part with, then try mixing a drop of tea tree oil with a dollop of you shampoo before washing your hair. You can manage greasy roots in between shampoos. Massage half a teaspoon of baby powder into your scalp, turning your head upside down and fluffing the roots to make sure the baby powder is being evenly dispersed. Baby powder works best for blondes; brunettes should try a bronzing powder. Make your own oil absorbing spray. Mix equal amounts of water and an alcohol free toner in a spray bottle and shake to blend. Spray this mixture on your roots before you blow dry. |
