Blush For Your Skin Tone |
Blush can add focus and a hint of color to your face, giving your skin a healthy glow. Determining what color is best for your skin tone can be difficult. Often too much color can look unnatural, while not enough can leave you looking washed out. A good rule of thumb is to try and achieve the rosy glow you get on your face after a few minutes of exercise. Fair to Medium Skin Tones:Try shades of soft pink or peach, depending on whether your skin undertones are warm (leaning towards olive) or cool (leaning towards pink/red). An easy way to determine this is by what color top you look good in. Do you look best in deep reds, blues, and purples? Then you most likely have cool undertones and will look best in soft pink. If you look best in orange, bright reds, browns, and yellows, then your warm skin tone will look best with peach. Olive Skin Tones:Try shades of warm cinnamon or copper to complement your warm skin tones. Skin Tones:Try shades of warm apricot or red brown to give you the flattering depth of color your skin tone allows. |
